Carlee Beller Wiley, of Oklahoma City and Stigler, OK, died on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at her home in Oklahoma City. She was born October 22, 1918 in Tamaha, OK to Thomas Ely Beller and Mittie Carl Doby Beller. She married William Earl Wiley on December 7, 1941 in Ozark, Arkansas. Mrs. Wiley graduated from Stigler High School, Connors College and attended Oklahoma College for Women. She was a caseworker for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for 37 years before retiring in 1984. She was a charter member of the Main Street Baptist Church in Stigler, and received her 50-year pin from the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by daughters Mary Jane Wiley Sims and Margaret Louise Wiley Benham Holloway and son-in-law Ealon Terry Holloway, Jr. all of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by grandaughters Jennifer Catherine Sims Johnson and Paul R. Johnson of Harrah, OK, Laura Anne Sims Cohoon and Johnny Don Cohoon of Haslet, TX and Julia Katherine Benham Cole and Mark Alan Cole of Oklahoma City and great grandchildren Mackenzie, Rebecca and Miles Johnson of Harrah, OK and Sawyer Cole of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by brothers Thomas Eley Beller, Jr., of Houston, TX and Leo and Mary Francis Hall Beller of Muskogee, OK, brother-in-law Edwin and Patricia O'Brien Wiley of Muskogee, OK sister-in-law Phyllis Evans Beller of Oklahoma City and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceeding her in death were her husband, William Earl Wiley of Stiger, brothers Louie Beller of Oklahoma City, Rex and Nellie Beller of Stigler, Jackson Ray and Idella Beller of Canyon Country, CA and sister Flossie and Bud Goins of Santa Ana, CA. Also preceeding her in death are sister-in-law Eleanor McCreary Beller of Houston, TX, brothers-in-law Jim and Edith Wiley of Checotah, Marshall and Mildred Wiley of Stigler, nephews Edwin Michael O'Brien Wiley of Tulsa, OK and Thomas Eley Beller, III of Houston, TX. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Main Street Baptist Church of Stigler, OK, Pastor John Pruitt officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be sons-in-law Larry Miles Sims, Billy Mack Benham and Ealon Terry Holloway, Jr., grand sons-in-law Mark Cole, Paul Johnson and John Cohoon as well as special Beller nephews Jackie Ray, Gary Maxwell, David, Jerrell, Jefferson Evans, James Phillip, and Michael Carl. Interment will be at the Stigler Cemetary following the memorial service. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral home.
