David C. Sowl, age 41 of Madison, WI, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. He was born on February 17, 1968 in Madison, WI to Charles & Judy (Messerschmidt) Sowl.
At times, David's life journey was troubled, but we now feel that he has found his Peace. He loved to fish, hunt, watch NASCAR races, and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. He also loved to tinker with "classic" junk vehicles.
Survivors include his daughter: Cassaundra Sowl-Campbell of California, a grandson: Garrett Gunderson of Reedsburg,
his parents: Judith (friend: Claire Tofte) Behnke of Cottage Grove, Charles (Bonnie) Sowl of Adams-Friendship, his sisters: LeAnn Endres of Black Earth, Melissa (Ryan) Salis of Avoca; a step-brother: Michael (Jennifer) Frame of Madison; a step-sister: Angela (Mark) Brockway of Crandon; his faithful canine companion, Sadie; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Lee and Emma Sowl and Walter and Rose Messerschmidt and his nephew, Zachary Zapp.
