Funeral services for Lexa Belle Richardson, age 94, of Brownsboro were held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church Of Brownsboro with the Rev. Gary White officiating. Burial followed in Leagueville Cemetery under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.
Mrs. Richardson died May 9. 2009 in a Tyler hospice.
She was born March 19, 1915 in Tyler to the late William "Willie" Washington and Margaret Missouri McAfee Parker. She was a housewife, a member of First United Methodist Church of Brownsboro and had worked for Brownsboro Independent School District. Mrs. Richardson loved to paint and crochet. She was preceded in death by first husband, Armel "Chili" Adair, second husband, Hamlett Richardson and grandson Steve Crouch Jr.
Mrs. Richardson is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Claudia Crouch and Linda and Kenneth Ray McCall, all of Brownsboro; brother, William Washington Parker Jr. of Phoenix, Az., sister Billie Ruth Michael of Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
The family received friends on Tuesday 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Brownsboro.
