Beatrice spent most of her life in Cherokee but was a resident at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka, Mississippi at the time of her passing. She was a dedicated Christian and a member of the Freewill Baptist faith. She served on the Board of Registrars and was an avid Atlanta Braves and Alabama Crimson Tide fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Brown; son, Gene Brown; brothers, Marvin, Paul, John, and Hurbert Bennett; and sisters, Lois Barnes, Margaret Holland, and Willie Walker.
She is survived by her son, Randall Brown (Esperanza), of Cherokee, Alabama; daughters, Reda Nell Brown Howard (Carl), of Tuscumbia, Alabama; daughter-in-law, Jan Brown, of Tuscumbia, Alabama; sisters, Mattie Noble, of Sheffield, Alabama, and Marie Laster, of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Kye Brown, Adam Brown, Steve Howard, Eddie Howard, Nan Howard, Gina Smith, and Andrea Brown; 14 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kye Brown, Adam Brown, Eddie Howard, Steve Howard, Zack Woodis, and Ron Howard with Bobby Joe Viall serving as honorary pallbearer.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Tishomingo Manor in Iuka, Mississippi.
