Philip Wilhelm Cansler (Gentzler) is the son of Johann Conradt Gentzler and Maria Catherine Gentzler.

He married Juliana(Uly)Wintermyer around 1758 In York, Pennsylvania.

The gravestone for Philip W. Genseler (Cansler, Ganßler) is broken into three pieces with the German words barely visible and difficult to make out. The fully assembled stone would have been about 61 inches tall (measured at the longest dimension) and 18 inches wide. The "shoulder" dimension is 53 inches tall (to the top of the small rounded feature on either side of the stone)
