Miss Junnie Elizabeth Brown, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brown, residing two miles south-west of Brownsboro, died at 10 o'clock Thursday night after swallowing a quantity of strychnine. The young lady was a student at Brownsboro High School. No cause was ascribed for her rash act.
Members of the family came here Friday morning to make arrangements for burial with the Carroll-Lehr Undertaking Company.
Funeral services were scheduled to be held at Leagueville at 4:30 Friday, with Dr. L.D. Rose of Athens conducting the service.
Deceased was born in Brownsboro and had lived there all her life. Besides her parents, she is survived by three brothers, J.L. Brown of Poteet, Texas and Jacob and Marvin Andrew Brown of Brownsboro.
