William "Ken" McKiddy, of Inkster, Michigan formerly of Williamsburg Kentucky passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Odyssey Hospice Center in Southfield, Michigan. He was 84 years and 6 days of age. He was born on June 11, 1925 in Gatliff, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dow McKiddy and Bertha Wilson McKiddy ; brothers Donald Ray, Benny James, Johnny Dale and Arnold McKiddy, and nephews, Danny and Randy McKiddy. He is survived by a sister, Doris Canady of Corbin, Kentucky; two brothers, Ancil McKiddy of Siler, Kentucky and Earnest Shelton of Toledo, Ohio; nieces, Karen Mullins, Sharon Black, Mary Elizabeth Hale, and Mary Ann Burns; nephews, Roy Russell Reeves, Henderson "Buckie" Reeves, Curtis McKiddy, Jimmy McKiddy, Richard Davis and Dale Davis; and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his passing. Visitation will be after 3:00 PM on Sunday June 21, 2009 at Croley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Rickett officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 88 of Corbin, Ky.
