Services for Jeff A. Kizzire, 72, of Green River were held Friday, March 8 at the Smith Funeral Home. The Rev. Kerry H. Groce officiated.

Cremation followed death.

Kizzire died Tuesday, March 5 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.

He was born Feb. 25, 1913 in Greybull, a son of William A. and Viola Hullinger Kizzire. He married Beulah McNulty in September of 1933 at Red Lodge, Mont. She died in March of 1968. He later married Rose Logan April 24, 1969 in Lander.

Kizzire spent most of his life in the Big Horn Basin area. He moved to Green River in 1967 and retired from Texasgulf Mining Co. in March of 1978 after 29 years.

He is survived by his wife of Green River; a daughter, Shawnee Kizzire, and a granddaughter, Kathleen Brockelsby, both of Green River; a sister, Louella Hardin, Lockeford, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a daughter, Joycellynne Kizzire.
