Amanda Ruth Retherford, 78, Elwood, died at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, in St. Vincent Mercy Hospital, Elwood.
Mrs. Retherford was born in Brazil, Indiana. She was a secretary at Monticello Manufacturing and returned in 1963.
She was affiliated with the Baptist church, Eastern Star, National Secretary Association and was past secretary of the Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include a son, Glen Allen, Elwood; a sister, Betty Hiatt, Fairmount; a brother, Eslie R. "Pete" Keller, Huntington; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, Feb. 18, in Elwood. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery
