Services for Alfred David Berry, 91, Athens, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. A. W. Cooper officiating.
Burial will be at the Leagueville Cemetery under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home.
Mr. Berry died Tuesday at the Advanced Care Center of Athens.
He was born Jan. 20, 1903, in Bakersfield, Calif., the son of Dallas and Sarah Foust Berry.
He worked in the oilfields. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Sammons Berry of Athens; a granddaughter, Jeannie Wilhelm of Los Angeles, Calif.; a great-granddaughter, Trish Wilhelm of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Bob Berry of Athens and Fred Berry of Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Mildred Birdsong of Broken Arrow, Okla.; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church in memory of Mr. Berry.
