O.E.S. MEMORIAL SERVICE
FOR HATTIE BAXTER
Mrs. Hattie Nevada Baxter, age 90, a life long resident of Rosedale, passed away at 7:50 o'clock, Friday evening, Sept. 10, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Strickland of Rosedale, following an extended illness.
She was born in Parke County, Indiana to William Greer and America Helen Barnes Adams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Baxter.
She was a member of the Rosedale Baptist church and Rosedale chapter O.E.S.
Other survivors are another daughter, Mrs. Sam Johnston of Rosedale; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Feuquay of Rosedale R. R. 2; six grandchilren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Cottrell & Williams funeral home in Rosedale where funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock, Monday afternoon. Rev. Ben Lowther officiated and burial was in Rosedale cemetery. Mary Martin chapter O.E.S. conducted memorial services at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
