Terry, Cal-Age 63, of the Williams Creek Community, passed away on Monday, April 8, at the Scott County Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born in McCreary County, Ky., on May 2, 1921. He was the son of the late Calvin Terry and the late Easter Elizabeth Smith Terry. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Terry and Rhonda Artennie Terry; and two brothers, James and Elmer Terry. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Connie Burke Terry of Williams Creek; a daughter, Mrs. Neal (Kathy) Cross, of Memphis; a son Danny Terry, of Williams Creek; a sister, Earrie Terry, of Knoxville; and a brother, Harmons Terry, of Clinton. Funeral services for Cal Terry will be conducted today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the West-Murley Funeral with the Rev. Charlie Duncan and the Rev. J. C. Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery in Williams Creek. Special singing will be provided by Carl Jeffers and the Lee Griffith Singers. West-Murley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
