Sulphur Times Democrat Sulphur, Murray Co., Oklahoma CHARLES HENRY SLATE Charles Henry Slate, age 71 of Route 1 Mill Creek died in a city hospital. Services were at Frier Funeral Home chapel Friday afternoon. Rev. ROBERT S. SCALES of the First Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be at Davis. He was born July 10, 1870 and is survived by his wife, Mrs. MARY SLATE of Mill Creek, three sons, PERRY SLATE of Norman, CLYDE SLATE of McAllen, Texas, and LEE SLATE of Mill Creek; two daughters, Mrs. JOHN R. MAIN of Elmore City and Miss MODENA SLATE of Mill Cree; six brothers, BILL SLATE and SAM SLATE of Purcell, DAVE SLATE of Lindsay, MARION SLATE of Bradley, MELL SLATE of Norman and GEORGE SLATE of Bakersfield, California, and two sister Mrs. MANDY KELLER of Ponca City and Mrs. LIZA WILFORD of Colony, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
