Albert E. Long formerly of 1801 8th Ave., died at 8:45 p.m. yesterday in Valley View Home. He was born May, 10, 1885, at Bellefonte, a son of Edward and Isabelle (Krider) Long and married Maude Murray, who died in 1932.
Surviving are three children: Mrs.Edna Brown and Fred of Altoona and Andrew of Lakemont; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. and a brother, Bert of Altoona.
Mr. Long retired as a brakeman for the PRR in 1955.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He will repose in the T. J. Stevens Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow.
