Claude G. Pefley, 60 years old of R. R. 4, Rockville was found dead about 5 o'clock Friday evening in a barn at his farm home.
Mr. Pefley was discovered by his brother, Earl Pefley.
Mr. Pefley was a member of the Rockville Baptist church and is survived by the widow, Gladys; two sons, Ernest Pefley of Indianapolis and Elmer Pefley, Ft. Wayne; a daughter, Mrs. Millrey Husford of Montezuma, the mother, Mrs. Lydia Pefley, Rockville; two brothers, Earl and Ray Pefley, both of Rockville, and five sisters, Mrs. Dora Overpeck and Mrs. Thelma Bradfield, Rockville; Mrs. Cleo Miller and Miss Doris Pefley, both of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Opal Vandivier of Montezuma.
The body was taken to the Barnes Mortuary where it remained until the funeral services at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Forks of the Creek church. The Rev. John Hand officiated and burial was in Adams cemetery.
