OBITUARY
BRUCE O.BEST
Bruce Otis Best , son of Frank and Josie Best, was born in Norton Co.,Kansas, March 21,1896 and passed July 31,1968 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 72 years.
In his earlier life he farmed south of Bertrand. He moved to Longview,Washington, for a number of years and lived in Grand Island the last few years.
He was prececded in death by his parents and two half-brothers, Earl and Jim Duff. He is survived by one brother, Wallace of Oxford,three half-brothers,Jack Best of Silver Cliff, Colorado,,Kenneth Duff of Longview, Washington and Roscoe Duff of Colville, Washington, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were conducted at Mitchell Funeral Home,Oxford, August 2,1968 with Father Charles Gergen officiating, organ meditations were rendered by Mrs. Joe Wilderrson,Bearers were Ora Flyn, Joe Kuck, Vaughn Dawson, Arthur Kriback, Dale Abraham and Waldo Kuck with interment in the Bertrand Cemetery, Michell Furneral Home, Oxford was in charge of arrangements.
