LAS VEGAS - Robert W. "Bob" Rogers, 73, died on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, in Las Vegas. Robert was born in Brainerd on Oct. 25, 1932, to William and Emma (Hoff) Rogers.
He is survived by sons, Robert C. (Steven Anderson, life partner) Rogers, of Las Vegas, and Justin C. Rogers, of Henderson, Nev.; siblings, Donald (Pat) Rogers, Shirley (Norm) Kuhn, all of Brainerd, and Beverly (James Smith) Rogers, of Deary, Idaho; stepchildren, Phyllis, James and Linda Woosley, of Minneapolis; and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wesley and Clifford; and sisters, Lois and Marlys.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor James Almquist officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd. Friends may call on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Arrangements will be with Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd.
