Mary was born April 10, 1904 in Walkersville a daughter of Millard Joseph and Martha Virginia Saylor Wilhide and was the wife of the late Roy Clinton Baugher of Frederick.

Mary, cared for the elderly in their homes, that would have been in nursing facilities without her care, enabling the elderly to stay in their residence longer than they could otherwise.

She was a homemaker and a very active member of Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church and the Ladies Bible Class.

Surviving are six sons, Joseph Samuel Baugher of Frederick, Roy C. Baugher Jr. of Adamstown, John David Baugher of Woodsboro, Martin Luther Baugher of Gatlinburg, Tenn., Franklin D. Baugher of Dickerson and Richard L. Baugher of Walkersville; Three daughters, Edna V. Dove of Fredericksburg, Va., Hilda M. Merson and Peggy A. Snoots of Frederick, 32 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Mary is also survived by two sisters, Hilda I. Layman of Walkersville and Edna Baugher of Dickerson.

Funeral held, the Rev. John O. Price officiating, with internment in the Glade Cemetery, Walkersville, Keeney and Basford funeral directors.
