OBITUARY - Newspaper + date unknown - "MRS. ELIZABETH BONE. Mrs. Ann Elizabeth BONE, widow of the late Robert A. BONE, Sr., died at the home of her son, Robert BONE, near Reynoldsville, at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 1927. She had reached the good age of 86 years, 2 months and 11 days, and the cause of her death was mainly the infirmities of age. The funeral services were held at the Bone home Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. A. COUSINS, pastor of the Reynoldsville M.E. Church, and burial was made in the Reynoldsville Cemetery. Mr. BONE was born in Sheldon, England, in 1841, and was married to Robert A. BONE Sr., September 10, 1859. Mr. BONE died in Reynoldsville a number of years ago. Twelve children, nine sons and three daughters, graced the union, of whom two preceded the parents in death. The surviving ones are: George BONE, of Smithport, Indiana county; Walter BONE, Dixonville; Henry BONE, Barnesboro; William BONE, Verona; Thomas BONE, Indiana; Robert and Richard BONE, of Reynoldsville; Mrs. Jennie KIRKMAN, of Clymer; Mrs. Elizabeth PHILLIPS, of Clearfield; and Mrs. J. W. EISLEY, of Wilkinsburg. There are also living 43 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. Mrs. BONE was a woman of fine Christian character, living in the love and esteem of all who knew her. Though the mother of a large family, she found time when in health, to attend to the duties of the church, and to minister to the wants of the sick and needy in the community. She lived to see all her sons and daughters reach maturity and settle in homes of their own, and spent her declining years visiting among them, welcomed at all. Her life was well spent and her death will be mourned by the community in whch she had lived so long."
