Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sowder Funeral Home in Rifle with the Rev. Dene Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith worked as a motel manager and a bookkeeper.
She was born December 22, 1905, to Tom and Sara Goss Cuddy in Fruita. She spent her childhood and graduated from high school in Fruita. She also graduated from Ross business College in Grand Junction.
She married Fred W. Smith. He is deceased. She previously was married to Hugh R. Bennett. They divorced.
Mrs. Smith enjoyed gardening, reading, needlework and crocheting, but mostly being with her family.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Gloria Bennett of Houston, and Bill and Cindy Smith of Portland, Oregon; three daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Bennett of Texico, N.M., Beverly and Glen McCormick of Rifle, and Linda Pryor of Boulder; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A sister, Alice Robinson, is deceased.
