Mrs. Pearl J. Ballew, 89, of Chatsworth went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, in the East Ridge Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed. H. Ballew. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Carl N. and Carolyn Ballew of Chatsworth, Raymond H. and Belinda Ballew of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Jerry Sumrall of Hixson, Tenn., Dorothy and Walter Epperson of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Karen Osby, Mona Brown, Beth Hullender, Michael Ballew, Christie Clark and David Sumrall; seven great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services are Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. David Cox and the Rev. Jerry Sumrall officiating. Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today after 4 p.m.
