CPL US ARMY WORLD WAR II

Harry A. "Popcorn" Kinney was the son of Charles and Emma Melick Kinney. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, and member of John Dolak American Legion Post, No. 446, Alpha, and Frenchtown-Milford VFW Post No. 7857. He retired in 1978 from the finishing department of Riegel Paper Corp, Milford plant.

He died in Hunterdon Medical Center at the age of 63 years. Interment was in Milford Union Cemetery.

He was survived by his wife, Doris Godown Kinney, a daughter, Mrs. Robert Kirchner, Milford R.D.3; a sister, Mrs. Frank Bellis, Milford; a half-sister, Mrs. Robert Vegh, Milford; two half-brothers, Herbert Godown, Quakertown, Pa. and Earl Godown, Milford; a stepbrother, Clarence Godown, Frenchtown; a stepsister, Mrs. Dorothy Hollo, Trenton, NJ and two grandchildren.
