He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen; by three daughters, Lavonne Simmons of Hemet, Jean Price of Orinda and Marilyn Fisher of Bakersfield; four sisters; one brother; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The family requests that any remembrance be made to the American Cancer Society.
