Mrs. Amerson, 81, Dies; Rites Today - STAMFORD, Nov, 29 (RNS) -
Mrs. W. B. Amerson, 81, formerly of Stamford, died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Novel Baize of Tuxedo. --
Mrs. Amerson was born May 8, 1873, at Round Rock. She was Lilly Morris before her marriage in 1898 in Shackelford County. The couple moved to Hill County near Itasca and in 1905 to Jones County. They moved to Stamford in 1920. -- Mr. Amerson died Dec. 13, 1933 and since that time Mrs. Amerson had lived with her daughter in Tuxedo. She was a member of the Tuxedo Church of Christ. --
Survivors besides her daughter are three grandsons, Paige, Arlon, and Wayne Baize, all of Tuxedo; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Cottle, Mrs. Delia Bumpers and Mrs. Sam Parrish, all of Moran; and two brothers, Albert Morris and Lloyd Morris, both of Moran. --
Funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Tuxedo Church of Christ. John R. Freedman, minister of a Lubbock Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Tuxedo under direction of Kinney Funeral Home of Stamford.
