Services for A. Amerson, 86, were held at Fairview Church officiated by Rev. R.A. Stewart, pastor, Rev. J.H. Morris and Rev. A.L. Moore. Mr. Amerson died at the home of his son.
Amos Amerson left Alabama and settled first at Hill County, Texas. He moved to Jones County by 1907.
Survived by sons - W.B., Amos George and James M. Amerson.

Amos Amerson (42359950)
A. Amerson died at the home of his son, W.B. Amerson, 415 East Handlan Street, last Thursday night. Mr. Amerson was 85 years old at the time of his death, being born on June 1, 1840. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3:00 at Fairview church, 12 miles southwest of Stamford and interment followed in Fairview cemetery. Penick-Hughes in charge with Rev. R.A. Stewart, Rev. A.L. Moore and Rev. J.H. Morris conducting the services.
