Funeral services for Fred Otis Thomas, 62, of 819 N. Harvey, are pending with Minton Mortuary. He died at 8:30 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital.

A resident of Borger 26 years, Thomas was born July 4, 1905. He was a member of Stinnett Church of Christ, and a retired ironworker.

Surviving are his wife, Neva; son, Ray of Borger; three daughters, Mrs. Tony Riddle of Borger, Mrs. Bob Blakeney of Pampa, Mrs. Janiece [sic] Villines of Skellytown; brother, Ebert of Chillicothe; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Blackmore, of Gouverneur, N.Y., Mrs. Jettie Bagwell, San Bernardino, Calif.

Stepmother, Mrs. Lizzie Thomas of California, four stepbrothers, five stepsisters; and 15 grandchildren.

Final rites for Fred Otis Thomas, 62, are scheduled at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Johnson Park Church of Christ. Zeb Sailors, minister of Stinnett Church of Christ, will officiate.

Burial in Highland Park Cemetery will be directed by Minton Mortuary.

Casketbearers are C.J. Adams, J.R. Whaley, P.L. Tinsley, J.A. Taylor, C.I. Poe, and Dudley Adams.

Thomas died Thursday in North Plains Hospital.

Surviving are the widow, 819 N. Harvey; a son, Ray of Borger; three daughters, Mrs. Tony Riddle of Borger, Mrs. Bob Blakeney of Pampa, Mrs. Lemuel Bivins of Pampa; a brother, two sisters, stepmother, four half-brothers, five half-sisters, and 15 grandchildren.
