Mr. and Mrs. Harry Muir Mix, formerly of Lynchburg, Va., now of Govans, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Mildred Lucille Mix, to Carlton Alexander Barrett, son of Major and Mrs. Henry S. Barrett, of York Court, Guilford. The ceremony was performed April 12 by the Rev. Dr. Robert W. Weech, pastor of Govans Methodist Episcopal Church.

Mildred M. Barrett
Mildred Lucille M. Barrett, 96, died at Our Lady of Peace. She was born in 1902 in New Albany, Ind. but grew up in Lynchburg from the age of 3. she was a very active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lynchburg and the Church of Our Saviour in Charlottesville. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Baldwin of Charlottesville; a son, Henry Shaw Barrett II of Corinth, Miss.; and eight grandchildren.
