Robert Alford, 77, was found dead in his bed Thursday morning, August 31. He appeared to be in usual health he attended revival services at Trinity church Wednesday night.
He is survived by a son, Pvt. Robert Alford, Jr. who is stationed at Fort Benning, GA and two nephews, who have resided with the deceased for several years, Marvin and Kent Alford.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, September 2, at 2:00 pm by Rev. A. E. Wikle, at Bethany Methodist Church.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
