Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to our friend, J. J. Furlong, in his present time of sorrow. John Charles Furlong, sixteen years old and the youngest son, was taken sick Tuesday of last week and on Saturday, Nov. 7, died. The young man was exceptionally bright and manly and a great favorite with both young and old. The funeral services were held Wednesday morning in St. Augustine church in Austin, solemn requiem high mass being solemnized by Father Devlin.
