Aaron Caughey, 35, formerly of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Southwest Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.

Aaron was born Nov. 26, 1973, in Guymon, Okla., to Harvey and Brenda Jobe Caughey. He moved to Amarillo as a young child and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1992. He began working for his family's business, Coy Transportation, and worked for them until 2004. He enjoyed playing tennis and fishing and being with his family, especially his "Nina."

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond Jobe "Nina" and Lonnie Caughey; and his grandmother, Dorothy Manning.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Caughey of Amarillo; his father, Harvey Caughey of Amarillo; a brother, Adam Caughey of Amarillo; and his grandmother, Loretta Jobe of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to The Serenity Foundation, 150 Orange St., Abilene, TX 79601.
