William married his first cousin Lillian Mae Trenary Dec 23 1898 in Leesburg Virginia to them 11 children were known to be born . While married To Lilly William also fathered seven other children with Emma Lee Costello as well as a daughter with Emma's sister Lula Costello. This has been verified by the Dna results of his grandchildren and great grandchildren from all three relationships. One son Joseph Morris Costello is not linked at this time
