RILEY SERVICES
The funeral mass for Mrs. Elmetta (Mettie) Riley, 88, 2311 Lafayette St., will be at 9 Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Internment will be in Mr. Olivet Cemetery. The prayer service will be at 7:30 this evening in the H. O. Sidenfaden & Son parlors.
Pallbearers will be six of her great-grandsons. They are Jerry and Gene Deatherage, Larry and Delton Lee Thomas, Colin and James Deatherage.
Mrs. Riley died Sunday at a St. Joseph hospital. Her husband, John H. Riley, died October 16, 1964. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan Co, and a member of St. Francis Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Twila Riley, of the home, and Mrs. Paul Deatherage, St. Joseph; one son, Lloyd S. Riley, San Diego, CA; eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
