Mrs. Mary Johnson died at the home of her son, Ole. A. Johnson, on the south side of Wind Lake, on Monday night after a long illness. She was 84 years and 7 months old. Deceased was best known as Gramma Johnson and was beloved by all. She came from Norway some twenty-eight years ago and her husband died some seven years since. This good old lady will be sadly missed and mourned by her children and grandchildren. There are six of the former as follow: Hans of Fillmore Co., Minn.; Martin of Douglas Co., Wisconsin; Edward, Ole A., and John E. and Miss Ellen here in Norway.
Jens and Berte Marie, had a daughter, Allete, born in 1856, died on Aug 8, 1860 and buried in Akershus, Norway.
