Leona Bertha Frum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.J. Frum, died of typhoid pneumonia at her father's home near Plumville, Friday morning, February 3, 1899. The deceased was born at Center Point, West Virginia, December 7, 1875, and was twenty-three years of age.
She is survived by her parents, three sisters and five brothers. Bertha had been a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church for 8 years.
She was always actively engaged in the work of the Sabbath school, E..worth league, and in other church services.
Appreciation of her many excellent qualities was shown by the sympathizing friends who helped minister to her comfort in her last illness, and by the unusually large concourse of people attending the funeral services, which were held at 2:30 p.m. Sabbath in the M.E. church at Plumville.
Interment was made in the Baracka cemetery near Plumville.
