Arthur moved from Alma to Strickler to work in his Uncle John Neal's store. (John was the father of S. H. Neal.) In 1900 Arthur Campbell married Princess Deborah Neal. They had four children, all born at Strickler, except Lillian, They moved to Prairie Grove in 1912 and operated the old Red Front Grocery Store and Wagon Yard on South Mock Street, They later operated Campbell Grocery and Market on the North side of Buchanan. A. L. Campbell began work as a veterinarian in 1928 and practiced over 40 years. Arthur and John went to Little Rock in 1938 for an examination which made them licensed veterinarians.
