Mrs. Dick was born July 14, 1918, in Crook to George and Anna (Vath) McCracken. She grew up in Crook, graduating from Crook High School.
She married Ernie Dick on Jan. 21, 1937. They lived in the Crook area until moving to Sterling in 1946. She worked as a house keeper for many families in Sterling before working at Northeastern Junior College and the Logan County Courthouse for many years.
Mrs. Dick is survived by one daughter, Kae Carwin and husband Spike, and one sister, JoAnn Strohmeyer, all of Sterling, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990, great-grandson Jason Spahn, brother Victor McCracken and sister LaVonne Robinson.
Memorials can be made to the First Assembly of God Church.
