Mrs. Alice Rhodes

Mrs. Alice Rhodes died near Davis last Sunday, aged 42 years. She was a victim of pneumonia. The funeral was held at Green Hill cemetery Monday afternoon and was conducted by Revs. J. J. Franklin and J. G. Ethridge.

The deceased was formerly Miss Alice Dixon. She was born in Lawrence county, Tenn., June 8, 1876, and married Robt. A. Rhodes in Tennessee 22 years ago, and moved to Oklahoma in 1906. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Blythe and Miss Ethel Rhodes, and a son Frank Rhodes, and one brother, Lum Dixon, all of Davis. Her father, mother, five brothers and three sisters preceded her to the grave.

The deceased was held in high esteem by those who knew her, and will be missed by loved ones and friends.
