Bill Culp had signed up for work on the Ky Dam Project. But he caught pneumonia while chopping wood and died within the week.

Bill G Culp Rites Friday
Funeral services for Bill G Culp, 45 year old Elva Route 1 resident, were held at the Culp residence Friday with the Rev Sam Rudolph officiating. Burial was in Bolton Cem.
Mr Culp died Thursday from pneumonia and his body was removed to the Filbeck and Cann Funeral Home and later returned to the residence.
Besides his widow, Mrs Lena Culp, Mr Culp is survived by his father, B F Culp; seven sons, Lee F, Rudy, Verdie, Louis Paul, Eugene, Raymond and Harlan Culp; five daughters, Mrs Cecil Reeder and Margie, Louise, Annie and Ina Culp; a sister, Mrs Linn Styers, and two brothers, Henry and John Culp.
Pallbearers were: John and Donald Salyers, Harold Culp, Maxin Bouland, Rudy Wallace and James Sullivan.
