Imogene Marie Naugle Palmer, born Nov. 17, 1928, to Herbert and Winnifred (Young) Best, was delivered into the arms of her Savior at 1 p.m. June 18, 2009.
Preceding her in death are her parents and granddaughter, Valorie.
Imogene is survived by her husband, Roy L. Palmer; six children, Sandra (Tom) Maloy of Galesburg, IL., Mark (Christi) Naugle of Richland, WA., Philip (Shari) Naugle of Abingdon, IL., Lisa (Victor) Meling of West Richland, WA., Jeff Naugle and Daniel Naugle. both of Richland, WA.; one stepdaughter, Patti (Palmer) Salerno; 13 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three others on the way; and two sisters, Faye (Ralph) Wenstrom of Galesburg, IL., and Barbara Bennet of Anaheim, CA.
Imogene was a homemaker, having worked at many tasks in her lifetime. She moved from Illinois to Washington and eventually retired as a nuclear operator from Westinghouse Hanford Company.

Services were Tuesday, June 23. Internment was Wednesday, June 24, at Einan's Funeral Home, 915 By-Pass Highway in Richland, Wash.
