Mr. Holt died Oct. 11, 1983 at Outer Drive Hospital in Lincoln Park at the age of 66. The son of Elbert Thomas and Beulah Hutson Holt, he was born Sept. 2, 1917 in Pemiscot County.
He was a retired tool maker from E. Cello Corp.
Mr. Holt was married Feb. 29, 1936 at Stanley, Mo., to Juanita Mitchem.
He is survived by his mother, Beulah Pool of Caruthersville; his wife, Juanita Holt of Lincoln Park, Mich.; one son, Elbert Thomas Holt of Houston, Tex.; three brothers, Brannon Holt of Portageville, John Henry Pool of Taylor, Mich. and Steven Pool of Hayti; four sisters, Georgia Ball of Portageville, Estelle Tanner of Portageville, Juanita House of Caruthersville and Barbara Boaz of Peoria, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jack D. Holt, in 1977.
