NISSWA - JoAnn Bourassa, nee Jorgensen, age 64, of Nisswa, went to her rest on Nov. 3, 2005, with her family at her side, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Ed Jorgensen. Longtime resident of the Brainerd area, she worked at Super One and Madden's. She was the former owner of Builder's Design Center. Her classy, fun-loving spirit was admired by many.

Survived by her children, Bryan (Lisa) Bourassa, of Ham Lake, Bonita (Phil) Hayden, of Coon Rapids, Paula (Rick) Payton, of Rochester, Nicole (Tony) Adams, of Mankato; grandchildren, Alicia, Austin, Riley and Tori; four stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn (Norman) Tutorow, of Lincoln, Calif.; brother, Ray Jorgensen, of Merrifield; half-sister, Meryce Dondero, of American Canyon, Calif.; former husband of 20 years, Robert Bourassa, of Baxter; many other relatives and many, many, dear friends.

The memorial service is Thursday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 5064 County Road 13, Nisswa, Minn., with visitation one hour prior to services. Private interment.
