The deceased was in attendance at the Parkplace school until November 5,when she left on account of illness. The Parkplace schools adjourned at noon, and the classmates with their teacher, attended in a body, and with many floral tributes, the junior society and members of several sunday school classes of the Baptist church were present.
Miss Thomas' chair in the choir was draped with crape and
calla lilies, ex-pressive of the choir's sad regret for the absent member.
