Services for the Rev. J. Purefoy Adair, 72, Brownsboro, are pending with the Burks-Walker-Tippet Funeral Home. Rev. Adair died Monday in a Tyler hospital after a long illness. He was born December 29, 1915 in Chandler. He was a retired Methodist minister.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bethel Adair, Brownsboro; two sons, Don J. Adair, Garland and Dwight Adair, Los Angeles, California; a daughter, Barbara Crenwelge, Austin; and four grandchildren.
The family is scheduled to receive friends fro 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
