FORK LIFT BACKS OFF DOCK, DRIVER FATALLY INJURED
Pennington - Bobby Gene Adams, 24 year old Pennington resident was fatally injured shortly after midnight last Thursday morning when the fork-lift he was operating at Victor Metal Products Corporation in Newport, backed off a dock and overturned on him. He died about two hours after the accident in a Newport hospital. He was a part time worker for Victor.
Mr. Adams is survived by his widow, Mrs. Betty Norene Adams; a daughter, Cynthia Lynene Adams; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Clifford Adams, Grubbs, three sisters, Mrs. Frances Marsh and Mrs. Louise Davenport, both of Memphis, and Mrs. Willie Bea Sutterfield, Blythe, Cal. and a brother J.C. Adams, with the marines on Okinawa.
Funeral services were held at the Pennington Church of Christ. Burial was in the Pennington cemetery with Jacksons' Newport Funearl Home in charge of arrangements.
