A descendent of Silas Sr.describes the cemetery, when she visited with her father, as located on a hill off what is now Ravenscroft Rd. It had 4 cedar trees, one on each corner, with approx. 17 graves with unidentified stone markers. It was her understanding that Silas Sr.,his 1st wife Nancy and 2 young daughters were among the ones buried there. Its rumored that his favorite horse is also buried there?? The cemetery in later yrs. was partially destroyed.

Incorrect birth date inscribed on marker for Silas.
Correct birth date-March 26th,1790.
