Elizabeth Ann Williams was born in 1818 in Rutherford Co, TN. She married Levi Barnett on 10/12/1835 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co, TN. They were the parents of ten children, nine girls and one boy. The family migrated to Missouri in 1839. Children of Levi and Elizabeth were: Margaret Jane Barnett 8/8/1836, Mary Adeline Barnett Abt. 1838, Ellender Caroline Barnett 5/5/1840, Martha Emoline Barnett Abt. 1843, Matilda Barnett 10/1/1844, Melinda Sibeline Barnett 11/30/1847, Nancy Ann Barnett 9/27/1850, Elizabeth Barnett Abt. 1851, Delana E. Barnett Abt. 1853, and William "Bill" Jackson Barnett 2/13/1855. The 1870 census shows an additional child, Joseph S. Barnett, born in 1864 in Missouri. He was most likely a grandchild; probably the son of Mary Adeline Barnett, who was deceased by 1870. Levi is said to have two children from an earlier marriage: Jeremiah Barnett 1833 and John Barnett 1834. Levi died in 1880 and is interred in the Baker Cemetery near Isabella, Ozark Co, MO. He shares a headstone with daughter, Matilda. After Levi died, Elizabeth moved in with her daughter, Nancy Ann Barnett and her husband Michael Connor in Hancock, Pulaski Co, MO.
