Francis Albert Blair was born August 26, 1867, the 5th child of Tarlton Blair and Lydia Allen in St. George, Utah

Francis spent his boyhood in St. George and Price, Washington County taking advantage of all schooling available at that time and place.

He married Louisa Booth on the 19th of April 1889 in the St. George Temple.

He farmed and hauled freight, coal and ore to support his family.

In 1925 he moved to Provo Bench, lived there for 5 years then moved to Pleasant Grove.
