Mrs. Elizabeth F. Linaweaver, 78, died yesterday in Kansas City, Kansas., where she moved last year.
Previously, Mrs. Linaweaver had made her home in Leavenworth County for 60 years.
Funeral services will be at the Sexton Funeral Chapel here at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
Born July 17, 1871, in Overall, Va., Mrs. Linaweaver was a daughter of Israel and Martha Burner. She was married to W. J. Linaweaver, and settled in Delaware Township until 1939, when she and her husband retired and moved to Fairmount.
They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1938, and Mr. Linaweaver died in 1947.
Mrs Linaweaver was a member of the Lansing Methodist Church, in the Degree of Honor.
In failing health for several months, Mrs. Linaweaver had spent some time recently in a hospital. A week ago, she improved enought to visit relatives here.
Yesterday as she opened a window at the home of her daughter, mrs. Geneva Seals, in Kansas City, she suffered the heart attack which caused her death.
Surviving, other than Mrs. Seals, are a son, C. B. Linaweaver, rural route two, Leavenworth; a sister, Mrs. Laura Alger, charlestown, West Va., two brothers homer Burner, Luray, Va., Jonas Burner, Akron, O., ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery at Basehor. the body is at the Sexton Cahpel.
