Johann Georg "George" Arcularius is the half brother of Philip Jacob and Johann Henrich "Henry"Arcularius. It is believed that they all came to America aboard the brig Dolphin in 1773. George was married twice and each of his wives occupy different plots at Green-wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.

George is buried with his second wife, Phoebe Davenport (Wright) Arcularius and their children, in section 57, lot 2341.
