Albert Gene Doshier, 69, of Selah died Thursday at his home.
Mr. Doshier was born in Yellville, Ark., moved to the Yakima Valley in 1941, was educated in Naches, and served in the U.S. Army. He was a heavy equipment operator in road construction and road maintenance and had worked for Webb Logging Co., Boise Cascade and Yakima County Public Works Department. He retired in 1998.
Survivors include his wife, Iva Doshier of Selah; three children, David Doshier of Selah, Doug Doshier of West Richland and Cathy Logstrom of East Wenatchee; a sister, Wanda Sue Johnston of Yakima; and seven grandchildren.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Concluding service will follow in the Wenas Cemetery.
